Intrim worked closely with the build & design team from ADCO to plot a precise template and manufacture custom curved timber handrail to fit perfectly within the project.

Wollongong Central is located in the beautiful Illawarra and is the leading retail/lifestyle destination in the region. The redevelopment of the Gateway Building was completed in October 2017 and involved an extension and new build, adding to the existing centre, as well as an upgrade and refurbishment of the existing part of the centre.

ADCO Construction led the design and build on the project, with close consultation from the Intrim team on creating custom curved handrail to fit atop new glass and metal balustrade. The Intrim team visited the site and were able to plot the exact curvature required for the handrail with our digital technology, and create a precise template from this data.
