Intrim are proud to be part of this important historical project to help restore the Long Gallery in the Australian Museum to its former glory with our custom timber handrail.

The Long Gallery in the Australian Museum, Sydney drew its first crowds in 1855 where it showcased ‘natural and industrial products.’ Fast forward to 2017 and it has been refurbished and is now ready to exhibition treasures from their world-class collection.

Active Metal Architectural Staircase and Balustrade Specialists led the project to re-create and install replica cast iron balustrades, which included custom timber handrail supplied by Intrim Mouldings.
