A premium aged care facility which boasts top quality finishings and showcases some beautiful interior design elements to create a light filled and comfortable atmosphere.

Opal Aged Care in the regional hub of Geraldton, Western Australia is a friendly and inviting aged care facility which saw an expansion by 40 resident beds, and a refurbishment of the existing beds and facility.

The design and construction was masterfully created by FIRM Construction which saw a modern revamp to the front reception, nurses station and laundry area. An abundance of natural light was used to give the activity area and kitchen servery a bright feel, and high quality finishes were used throughout to create a high quality finish.

Intrim timber BR03 bump rail, 50mm timber dowel handrail with HB03S curved saddle handrail brackets were used throughout the project to create a more homely feel with the natural material while keeping with the premium feel and quality of the overall project.
